For Fossil this year, the key word is ‘chronograph’, as the company introduces a slew of watches, all featuring this most useful and versatile complication.
The Fossil FS4446 Sport Chronograph has an oversized black dial with three pre-cision sub-dials and is set in a black IP case with a matching interlocking bracelet. Retailing for US$ 135, it's perfect for these challenging economic times.
The Fossil CH2575 with a green dial is set in a stainless steel case with matching interlocking bracelet, complete with finely textured sub-dials, precision index and black aluminum rotating tachymeter bezel. The CH2577 is a Sport Chronograph in a bold 52 mm case, featuring an oversized green dial set in an industrial-style, stainless steel case. The bold strap is made from textured silicon and provides a snug, comfortable fit.
Fossil's FS4436 chronograph has a textured bezel, a black dial and an interlocking bracelet, while the FS4437 is an elegant model using a champagne dial, brown leather strap and textured bezel.
In addition to chronographs, Fossil is also introducing some interesting hardware on leather watches. In the JR9886, Fossil has paired a bold dial in an oversized square stainless steel case with matching rivets on the leather strap. Fossil is also introducing the JR9988, a rectangular analogue watch with a double-padded genuine leather strap.
In troubling economic times, entry level often holds strong. Fossil is positioned very well, with entry price points at under US$ 100, to take advantage of people's desire for new, interesting watches without having to spend a great deal of money. The quality of Fossil watches is backed by an 11-year warranty, so people can buy with confidence.
