An internationally-recognised figure in the auction industry, Tim Bourne joined Sotheby’s as Worldwide Head of its Watches department in 2011, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in the international market.

Based in Hong Kong, Mr. Bourne is responsible for driving the global business strategy of Sotheby’s watch division, overseeing Sotheby’s Asia’s watch auctions in addition to those in Geneva, New York and London. Mr. Bourne endeavours to encourage “an innovative and forward-thinking team that can capture rapidly-growing market opportunities, as well as the shifting focus of watch auctions worldwide”.
