By presenting its first completely self-developed additional functional watch part, the “Alexander Shorokhoff” watch manufacturer proves impressively, that developing the avantgarde design is accompanied by a permanent technical development, which meets the high standards of the traditional mechanical watchmaking.

It has taken the team about a year of planning and constructional work for realizing the calendar module KM-01- a date display, which will be fixed by flange connection to the hand winding movement 2609.AS extending its basic functions by a useful additional part.

The new date display will be fixed at 6 o’ clock on the dial. Striking colours and the varying size of this display contrasting to the neutral coloured dials of the Alexander Shorokhoff watches, will make it more conspicuous. Colourful hands intensify this effect and make it easier to read the time.

The pusher close to 4 o’ clock serves for setting and changing the date. The sapphire glass on both sides of the polished stainless steel case gives us the possibility to have a look at the refined movement.

Plain colours and reduced indices are characterising the design of the model AS.KM01 which belongs to the young AVANTGARDE line. This design is capturing obsessions at the watch and will underline the individuality of the watch owner. This timepiece is for those, who likes a modern interpretation of the traditional watchmaking and appreciates the beauty of the plain elegance.

By creating this technical novelty Alexander Shorokhov has completed his young AVANTGARDE line by a new interesting addition.

On the basic of the calibre 2609.AS are already planned some other module versions featuring indication of the week day, power reserve and a regulator dial indication.
