Extraordinary Collection of Patek Philippe Timepieces Offered in Antiquorum’s October Auction

Antiquorum Auctioneers is pleased to present its fall auction of “Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces” to be held on Saturday, October 26th at The Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong. Collectors can look forward to bidding 246 outstanding modern and vintage timepieces.

Amongst the exceptional and collectible highlights is a series of Patek Philippe timepieces, including a Patek Philippe Ref. 3939 tourbillon minute repeating wristwatch with special dial and a skeletonized platinum Ref.5104 minute repeater with perpetual retrograde calendar. Previews will be held in Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

The highlight of the sale is the Patek Philippe Ref. 3939 Tourbillon Minute Repeater with Special Dial in Pink Gold. It is the first time that a personalized pink gold 3939 with special brown dial and red numeral has appeared at auction. This is exceptional and possibly unique, minute-repeating 18K pink gold wristwatch with one-minute tourbillon regulator and 18K pink gold Patek Philippe buckle. Sold on January 20th, 2013. It is accompanied by a fitted box, additional case back, COSC certificate and Certificate of Origin within a leather folio.

Another noteworthy timepiece is the Patek Philippe Ref.5014P Platinum Minute Repeater Perpetual Retrograde Calendar Skeletonized. This piece is an extremely fine, rare and important, minute-repeating, astronomic, self-winding, platinum wristwatch with perpetual calendar, retrograde date, moon phases, leap year indication and a platinum Patek Philippe buckle. It is accompanied by a fitted box and Certificate of Origin within a leather folio.
