Iron treatment
The iron parts have been milled and turned out of solid iron.
After the iron parts have been adjusted and finished, they were rusted with a special solution made of vinegar, salt and Hydrogen peroxide.
Finally the rust particles were removed by Hydrochloric acid.
The structure of the rust layer remained and was preserved by a durable PVD coating.
