Our main edition now presents two brand new folios: Time.Keeper, focused on watch products, and Time.Business, with a broader view of the watchmaking context.
Europa Star celebrates 90 years in watchmaking in 2017. To mark the special occasion – and respond to an ever changing industry – we are proud to present the new format of Europa Star Magazine.
The new and improved layout takes the shape of two complementary folios: Time.Business and Time.Keeper, which provide together a comprehensive outlook of the industry.
Europa Star TIME.BUSINESS
Time.Business contains articles and in-depth reporting on the industry, and its economic and geopolitical context. Price is the focus of this first, as it seems to us to be one of the most critical points of our period, and also a prism through which we can efficiently analyse the state of the watch industry.
There is also a special feature on Trumponomics and Swiss watches. What will be the impact of Trump on Swiss watch exports? Read on to find more!
Did you know that the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph didn’t change in price from 2010-2015, while the Omega Speedmaster more than doubled in price between 2000-2010? Find out what to expect moving forward in a highly informative series of articles that uncovers the upheaval in the market.
As Swiss watchmaking battles through this crisis, we also travel to Glashütte to investigate how the German watchmaking industry has been reborn since the fall of the Wall. Can the Swiss learn from the German experience?
Europa Star TIME.KEEPER
The new issue of Time.Keeper is devoted to new watches, galleries, brands and their specific products.
In this edition, over twenty brands introduce their latest novelties, allowing their latest creations to reach professionals and amateurs alike.
Among other highlights on gem-setting and the resurgent use of rose gold, there’s also a portfolio feature on Extraordinary Watches, which suggests that perhaps the best response to the current crisis is more innovation.
Europa Star PREMIÈRE
And of course, don’t forget to check out issue number 6/16 - 1/17 of Europa Star PREMIÈRE, the leading French language watchmaking publication.
