The latest addition to the brand’s premium line boasts an impressive 120 hours of autonomy, indicated by a rare secondary hand on the dial.

MeisterSinger knows what it does well, and it keeps to it. The German watchmaker had made a name for itself for its single-handed watches, which are nevertheless just as accurate as the competition. And thanks to their less cluttered dials, they can offer a cleaner and more minimalist look.

With the Circularis Power Reserve, however, the brand broke with its norm and included a secondary hand. But in this watch the other hand doesn’t indicate the minutes, as you might expect, but rather the power reserve.

The name of the watch perhaps gave that away. With a name like Circularis Power Reserve, of course the first question you’d ask would be: How much power reserve do we get? The answer: an impressive 120 hours of autonomy.

The massive reserve is all thanks to the hand-wound MSH02 movement, which also allows for a date function. The amount of autonomy left is indicated via a semi-circular display window located at 9 o’clock.

The integration of this seemingly simple feature required extensive changes to the movement, specifically with regard to its twin mainspring barrels.

The automatic version also has some elaborate finishing, which can be appreciated through the exhibition case back, which has been fastened with four screws.

The watch is available in four versions, each in a 43 mm stainless steel case that is held on by an alligator leather strap. The black and the steel-gray sunburst dials feature superluminova hands and indices, while the ivory and opaline models have blued hands that provide a subtler contrast.
