A jewelry designer with a passion for creating unique pieces, Jane Taylor continues
to set trends with her innovative diamond and gemstone designs.
The Jane Taylor Company, although relatively young as a brand, has made quite a name for itself with its innovative diamond and colorful gemstone designs. Winning design awards for its Hinge Klick® setting, three-stone `right hand ring' design and pavÉ Chubby Bezel® settings. The designer first introduced contemporary bezel settings to the fashion world with her signature Chubby Bezel designs in 1995. The company is composed of two divisions, the first which focuses on the continued development of its own brand, and a second division, which concentrates on private label design and manufacturing for brands owned by others. Private label designs are manufactured in gold and silver. The styling varies according to the corporate identities of each client, and ranges from mid-market to technical upscale solutions.
The current Jane Taylor collections comprise two story lines. Totally Everyday® and Bohemia®. Totally Everyday includes the brand's most recognized Chubby Bezel, a sculptural interpretation of an ancient method of setting. The three core variations are basic, cluster and fully pavÉd rings, earrings and pendants. They are available in a wide range of stone shapes and sizes. This collection serves both the contemporary bridal and fashion markets because of the flexibility inherent in its component parts.
Bohemia also draws inspiration from antiquity but is completely different in nature from Totally Everyday. Mosaics and stained glass windows inspired the striking and detailed compositions used to unite colored gemstones in dazzling displays of creativity. This spring, Jane Taylor is debuting its newest addition to Bohemia with a collection of bridal jewelry aptly named `Bohemia Love', a delicate but strongly sculptural range of styles aimed at the needs of the contemporary bridal market.
In addition to `Bohemia Love', Jane is introducing two additional new suites with strong fashion sensibilities. `Fat Heart' in 18K gold, is defined by its custom designed chain linking funky plain or white pavÉ diamond hearts with ease for everyday wear.
Anticipating the increased demand for upscale silver jewelry, the third collection houses the first designs for Taylor's brand made in silver, with enamel adding the color element. The designs playfully update the iconoclastic Family Crest in her signature sculptural quality. Yellow gold versions are also available in the same designs for those who love the warmth of yellow metal.
Jane Taylor jewelry is available at fine department stores and independent jewelers throughout the United States.
