Perrelet Rectangle Royal
Mother-of-pearl dial

Actually, the Rectangle Royale is one of the cornerstones of the brand. In 2001, to enrich this collection, a new style is being offered with a superb blue mother-of-pearl dial with its powdered hour markers. The mother-of-pearl delicate colours - blue, grey, purple, pink and green - are influenced by the shellfish's natural environment.

This watch is naturally named Rectangle Royale due to its majestic dimensions (40mm by 34mm), a name that evokes the period in the brand's history when Louis-FrÉdÉric Perrelet (grandson of Abraham-Louis Perrelet, inventor of the automatic movement in 1770) made watches for three French kings in the 19th century.

This Perrelet watch in rectangle shape has also the brand's special technical and aesthetic feature: the automatic movement with double rotor and dated display.

This double rotor allows an original setting of diamonds. On the presented model the white gold upper rotor, which is visible on the dial is set with 71 diamonds and give the watch a very playful aspect.
