Basel Show and SIHH 2003 to 2007

Confirmation of the dates of the World Watch and Jewellery Show, BASEL and of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) from 2003 to 2007

With reference to the joint press release issued on 2 May 2001, the management of MCH Messe Basel AG and the ComitÉ International de la Haute Horlogerie (CIHH) confirm that, in the interests of their international clientele and of the media, they have agreed to coordinate the dates of the World Watch and Jewellery Show, BASEL and of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in Geneva up to 2007.

BASEL will welcome the world's media as of the Wednesday each year and the international visitors as of the Thursday morning.

For each edition of the SIHH in Geneva, Monday will be reserved for the official opening, the media and VIP visitors.

With this solution, MCH Messe Basel AG and the CIHH are responding to requests from watchmaking companies participating in the Basel and Geneva shows. They wish to ensure that these two major events continue to complement each other, while also making it easier for clients from all over the world to inspect the creations of fine watchmakers within a limited timeframe.

The next BASEL show takes place from 4 to 11 April 2002, the SIHH from 8 to 15 April 2002
