Timberland

August 2001

This Fall, Timberland will introduce a new design as a part of its Work Casual Collection. The collection is targeted toward the person who aspires to the outdoor lifestyle-even if the city is more familiar to him or her.

The business casual watch sports a clean, comfortable look featuring outdoor colors and earth tones. Inspired by the outdoor lifestyle that is synonymous with Timberland, the design is branded by logo placement on the dial, the strap, plus a subtle etching of the word “Timberland” on the left side of the case. Initial styles will feature leather straps in brown and black.

The watch will be available worldwide in a date version, in a multi-function version for the US market and as a chronograph version for all other international markets. Later in the fall, steel bracelet versions will be added to all movement variations. Like all Timberland watches, the leather straps are water resistant. Screw-down crowns guarantee water resistance to 100 meters.

“The Timberland customer aspires to an adventurous lifestyle and there is a definite demand for outdoor inspired watches that can be worn in a business or professional setting. This watch is the perfect work week watch,” states Muriel Spoorenberg, Timberland Brand Manager, International.

All Timberland watches are water-resistant to either 50 or 100 meters, have hypoallergenic stainless steel cases and casebacks, lenses made with scratch-resistant mineral glass and feature the Timberland tree logo etched in all crowns and casebacks.
Designed and tested to withstand the elements, Timberland watches are crafted with the same attention to signature detailing and premium quality materials that have made Timberland® boots a legend.
