New Dimension for Patek Philippe’s Twenty 4®

August 2001

When it was launched in June 1999, the Twenty 4® met with such overwhelming acceptance that it soon became Patek Philippe's most popular ladies' wristwatch. Modern women instantly embraced its contemporary design and the striking craftsmanship it embodies in every detail. Their message was unmistakable: active, fashion-conscious women want a timeless watch that complements daywear just as consummately as it matches festive evening attire.

The first diamond-set steel models were welcomed so enthusiastically that the Geneva watchmakers decided to introduce 18K rose and white gold versions just one year later.

As the leading manufacturer of classic watches and exquisitely complicated mechanical timepieces that appeal especially to men, Patek Philippe had thus added a new star to its range of watches designed explicitly for women. Moreover, the Twenty 4® reflected the manufacture's quality philosophy in every respect. This elegantly implemented strategic move now has a sequel with four new models impatiently awaited mainly by women who prefer smaller watches.

With a rectangular case measuring 26.3 x 22 mm, the Twenty 4® petite Ref. 4908 precisely emulates the proportions of the original (30 x 25.1 mm) and in this smaller format reaffirms the magic charm of its contemporary styling. To emphasize this prominent stature, Patek Philippe is crafting the new Twenty 4® Petite Taille exclusively in the collection's most precious metals: 18K white and rose gold.
