At the recent Couture Collection and Conference, which took place in Phoenix, Arizona, the award for Best in Design, 'Haute Couture', was won by De Vroomen.

The Couture Collection and Conference, a by-invitation only jewellery event, features the work of the world's most distinguished jewellery designers. The exhibitors are selected from thousands worldwide and represent the most well respected and talented in their field.

The Couture Design Awards are sponsored by Town & Country and Harper's Bazaar and all of the 145 exhibitors are invited to submit one piece for these awards. The presentation took place during a gala black-tie dinner at the Phoenician.

The jewel put forward by De Vroomen was a fabulous cross. This highly dramatic piece is set with a beautiful cabochon tanzanite (24.50ct), superbly contrasted with rich red enamel and sparkling white diamonds, worn on a single strand of deep grey Tahitian pearls. The overall effect is simply stunning.
