Watchmaking masterpieces from Mercedes-Benz

June 2001

From Mercedes-Benz's Press Release
WATCHMAKING MASTERPIECES FROM
MERCEDES-BENZ

Mercedes-Benz is presenting four exclusive wristwatches as part of its Spring Collection 2001. All the new models follow the current trend by featuring mechanical movements; the range comprises two automatic chronograph watches, a wind-up gents watch and an automatic ladies watch. All new watches now share the same two-section case designed at Mercedes-Benz, featuring concealed strap ends, sapphire crystal glass and a screwed mineral glass back. This observation back clearly shows the precision-made refinery ticking away at the heart of watches. The watch movements all come from Switzerland of course, are exquisitely crafted and decorated with Cotes de Genève on the bridges and rotor as well as blue screws. The cases, faces and straps are produced at top-quality suppliers according to Mercedes-Benz's own specifications.

As with products in the Mercedes-Benz Collection, the watches are available exclusively from Mercedes-Benz partners and from the web by visiting www.mercedes-benz.de
