Denis Tito, the first space tourist, is on the finishing-straight to fulfil his dream.
Against the will of the NASA officials and with support of Russian aerospace administrations, the US American will start on the 28.04.01 on board of a Sojus rocket into space and his greatest dream becomes true- to have the Overview, the sight of earth from space. The learned missile engineer and millionaire went through the cosmonauts training periods over the last year now and he finally has his space flight ticket in his pocket. For their stay in space, the next crew being launched to the ISS has received the FORTIS Official Cosmonauts Set as part of their official equipment the FORTIS Official Cosmonauts Set handed over by the space authority Rosaviakosmos- RSA.
Since summer 2000 the Swiss watch manufacturer FORTIS is the exclusive watch supplier of the Russian cosmonauts/astronauts for space missions and on board of the International Space Station ISS.
