This year's Basel Award theme is Surreal Appeal'. Senior-year  students from more than sixty jewelry design schools throughout the world will compete in this prestigious event. The  winning creations will be auctioned off at Christie's next November for theA Garland for Linda Foundation`, created by former Beatle, Paul McCartney, in honour of his late wife, for cancer research.
