European Watch Clock and Jewellery Fair 1989 BF 328
The “Memosurf” watch gives sailboard regatta enthusiasts a practical way of keeping track of the ten-minute countdown period preceding ragatta starts. The five discs gradually change colour and the last minute is also displayed on the 60-second timer at right. Pushpieces are located at 12 o’clock for better handling. The system is controlled by a bell-shaped, patented module that caps and rings a Harley Quartz 775 movement that runs independently of the rest. This solution yields considerable power-consumption savings and adds no less considerable slimness to the very youthspirited case. Displaying bright, fluorescent colours, its carbon fibre shell is water-resistant down to 100 m. (MEMOTIME “Memosurf”)
