Basle is again the scene of a world premiere : the first electronic chronograph model is out ! It incorporates a sonic resonator electronic movement (Mosaba) connected to a mechanical module with endless kinematic chain which is coupled when the chronograph mechanism is started and uncoupled when it is stopped. Handling is the same as with a standard mechanical chronograph. 1-burs and minutes registers, tachymeter. The day and date calendar also breaks new ground : the days are indicated by Arabic numerais numbered from i to 7 Tus design finally unites the designations “chronograph and”chronometer“as its accuracy is precise enough to warrant the latter titles.
