Gübelin “Bras en l'air”

A drawing by Leonardo da Vinci provided Gübelin with the idea that led to the creation of this wristwatch, probably the only one of its kind in the world. The figure’s arms rise and fall back, showing the time on the two sectorial arcs on either side: left for the hours, right for the minutes. At the end of their sweep, the two arms automatically return to their initial, upraised position. (GUBELIN “Upraised Arms”)
