atorex, the specialist maker of quality pocket watches, is presenting an astutely conceived timepiece that can serve as a table or desk clock and even double as a bedside alarm as well as a pocket watch. Its case back is designed to turn itself into a stable base when the watch is being used as a clock. Six distinctive versions of this unusual watch/clock design, all in 18K goldplate, are available, with a white dial featuring Roman or Breguet numerals. Four of them feature a 17-jewel mechanical movement with Incabloc, either gilt and openworked or with special decorative features. Two others, one an alarm clock, are fitted with a quartz movement.
