The balance of Frank Jutzi’s work is doubtless less due to the clear-cut exterior lines than to the configuration of the dial, built in the manner of vintage regulators, with a single centre hand for the minutes. The hour-subdial is placed between one and two o’clock, the small seconds at six o’clock, and the symmetry is perfectly respected by positioning the moon phase window between ten and eleven o’clock. The moon phases are arranged around a rotating disc, featuring the golden celestial body depicted amid a star-spangled night sky.
The solid silver guilloché dial and arrow hands exude the charm of yesteryear, nestling at the heart of a solid gold polished case fitted with a blue leather Goldpfeil strap. The self-winding movement seen through the back was developed by Frank Jutzi on an ETA base calibre and enables all adjustments to be made using the crown, including rapid moon-phase correction.
