he new issue of Europa Star (3/22) continues the celebrations of the 95th anniversary of our publishing house.
Featuring on the cover the 216TMZ Ji-Ku model by master watchmaker Kari Voutilainen and his wonderful collaboration with Japanese urushi lacquer expert Tatsuo Kitamura, this issue highlights the theme of “spectacular watchmaking” and marks the return of jewellery to our magazine, with a comprehensive dossier by Isabelle Cerboneschi.
Historically, our publications have covered both watchmaking and jewellery. A heritage that we have been able to rediscover thanks to the digitisation of our archives. It was therefore only natural that we should return to this lineage, as the two disciplines are so intertwined.
A website dedicated to jewellery, www.europastarjewellery.com, has also been launched to accompany this historical return to jewellery. We look forward to sharing this newfound passion with you!
