atch brand d&a (DecideAndAct) and the Wayuu Foundation have recently announced their collaboration. The Wayuu Foundation, launched by actress Patricia Velasquez, aims to improve the living conditions of indigenous communities in the Americas. It addresses issues of malnutrition, healthcare, potable water and education as well as the communities’ economic development while encouraging gender equality and preserving cultural heritage and tradition.

d&a combines Swiss watchmaking with an engaged design to inspire people to stand for peace, diversity and ecology. The brand places the power in the hands of the people and pledges 10% of retail price to a cause the customer chooses and stands for. This is redefining the watch, taking it from an accessory to a timepiece that makes a difference.

The partnership is symbolized by the Endless handShake line that celebrates togetherness, love and diversity. A totem that reinterprets the classic Burlington pattern with interlocking hands, in different colors, that share an infinite embrace.

The strap is made of vegan leather and PETA approved materials. The signature monobloc case is made of 80% recycled stainless steel and domed with a mineral crystal and shelters a circular dial enhanced with relief forged indexes.
