tudio Underd0g first acquired a minority stake in Horologium in July 2024 to strengthen the companies’ close working relationship and secure long-term production capabilities. As of December 3rd 2025, this stake has now increased to 100 percent.
Horologium currently assembles between 1,000 and 1,200 Studio Underd0g watches each month, a scale that highlights the importance of this partnership and the value of bringing these operations fully in-house. With Studio Underd0g already accounting for approximately 90 percent of Horologium’s annual revenue, the acquisition solidifies Studio Underd0g’s investment in the future of British watchmaking. The experienced technical team will continue to oversee established processes, ensuring full continuity throughout a planned leadership transition in early 2026.
“Bringing assembly in-house unlocks some incredibly exciting opportunities for us, ” said Richard Benc, Founder of Studio Underd0g. “Our partnership has always been built on mutual respect and shared standards of excellence, and this acquisition allows us to take that to the next level. We now have the chance to open our doors in a way we never have before, including exploring the possibility of a showroom and offering enthusiasts a hands-on assembly experience. This integration will give our community a unique insight into the outstanding work the team does every day, and I could not be more excited for what is ahead.”
Recent collaborations with Christopher Ward, Sartory Billard and H. Moser & Cie. have already demonstrated Studio Underd0g’s ambition to deepen its watchmaking credentials, and this acquisition represents the next step in that journey.
Horologium has played a central role in supporting Studio Underd0g’s strong growth, providing watch assembly, quality control and after-sales services from its dedicated UK facility. With established systems, a skilled team and proven production capability, the facility now provides an exciting platform for Studio Underd0g to expand its service capacity and refine its in-house processes.
