Titan unveils plans for a new top-range brand

New CEO Kuruvilla ’Diny’ Markose announces a strategy to extend Titan’s watchmaking capabilities into the premium segment. The launch is set for the second half of 2026. Positioned firmly within the domain of high horology, the brand will operate in a price band up to 50,000 CHF.

T

itan Company Ltd., India’s largest watch manufacturer, was present for the first time at Geneva Watch Week and chose the global capital of fine watchmaking to introduce itself to the international watch community and to mark the occasion with the launch of two high end novelties. The CEO unveiled future plans that includes the upcoming launch of a new brand positioned at the very top of its portfolio.

Geneva concentrates the world’s attention on the art and business of watchmaking each spring. It is in this context that Titan has chosen to make its first appearance in the city - an acknowledgement of Geneva’s unique standing in the industry, and an indication of the direction the company is now taking.

Kuruvilla “Diny” Markose became Chief Executive Officer of Titan Company Ltd. in August 2025. It was his first appearance on the international stage in this role, and reflects his conviction that Titan’s next chapter will be written in dialogue with the wider world of fine watchmaking.

Titan is currently best known for being one of the largest watchmakers in the world- making over 15Mn watches annually. The company is now committed to extend its watchmaking capabilities into the high end, bringing the best of Indian watchmaking and craftsmanship to the world of horology.

In line with this ambition, the company unveiled two new novelties in Geneva: the Edge Ultraslim Mechanical and the Nebula Genesis Starburst.

The Edge Ultraslim Mechanical is built on the 2.2mm slim Edge Mechanical calibre- a stunning in-house movement, that puts the company in company of brands worldwide that have slim mechanical movements. This watch will be their official entry into the GPHG this year under the Time Only category.

The other novelty unveiled is the Nebula Genesis “Starburst”. A stunning watch inspired by the birth of a star with 60 custom cut diamonds spread in a unique radial cadence on the iconic dodecagonal bezel. The in-house automatic movement is adorned by the Trionique rotor.

The CEO also unveiled future plans which include introduction of a new watch brand conceived as the most advanced expression of the company’s watchmaking capabilities. The launch is set for the second half of 2026. Positioned firmly within the domain of high horology, the brand will operate in a price band up to 50,000 CHF.

The new proposed brand will be built around a set of defining principles:

  • High horology and watch making excellence, drawing on Titan’s accumulated manufacturing expertise and technical investment
  • Advanced complications and precision engineering
  • An elevated design language, distinctive and considered
  • Hand finishing and artisanal crafting at every level of production
  • • Small batches and curated creations, with rarity as a founding principle.

With all of these initiatives, Titan extends its watchmaking into a more selective, high-end segment, reinforcing its presence within the broader landscape of global horology.

Kuruvilla “Diny” Markose, CEO of Titan Company Ltd., shared: “Our new novelties, and proposed new brand at the upper end of the spectrum, represents a natural progression for Titan. They bring together our manufacturing depth, our design capabilities, and our engineering expertise into a more focused expression of high-end watchmaking. The opportunity of introducing the company at this key moment in Geneva reflects the standards we are aligning ourselves with. Titan’s next chapter will be written not only in India, but in dialogue with the wider world of fine watchmaking.”
