TimeonShow: a great success on Lake Como

On May 16 and 17, at FuoriConcorso, the connection between high-end vintage watchmaking and outstanding automotive culture was once again confirmed.

T

ime on Show, the exclusive gathering for collectors and enthusiasts of rare and collectible watches, concluded its participation at FuoriConcorso 2026 with great success. The prestigious international event dedicated to automotive culture took place on May 16 and 17 alongside the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, within the stunning settings of Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota on Lake Como.

FuoriConcorso 2026, under the name “KraftMeister”, celebrated the engineering excellence and creative strength of German automobiles, providing the ideal stage for a format such as Time on Show, capable of seamlessly fitting into contexts of international excellence.

Within this unique setting, Time on Show presented its renewed format as an exhibition gallery, further strengthening its position as a benchmark for collectors and enthusiasts of high-end vintage watchmaking. The event attracted an elite international audience and generated significant interest around the curated selection of unique vintage collectible pieces showcased during the two-day event.

Participation in FuoriConcorso further highlighted the natural affinity between the worlds of high-end vintage watchmaking and luxury automobiles: two universes united by aesthetic research, mechanical precision, innovation, and craftsmanship. Throughout the event, this authentic dialogue came fully to life among collectors, dealers, and enthusiasts from all over the world.

Great appreciation was expressed for the quality of the exhibitors present, who, as per tradition, were personally selected by the selection committee, which also includes Davide Parmegiani, head of Monaco Legend Group.

Completing the selection were Alessio Zenga Vintage Watches, Bonanno Roma, Cacciari e Salvati, Caso Watches, Mattioli e Stefani, Muratori, Watches in Rome — leading dealers and key participants since the very first editions, now an integral part of the identity of Time on Show.

Conceived by Pier Luigi Santi together with Paolo Borgomanero and Auro Montanari (“John Goldberger”), Time on Show, organized by BolognaFiere, continues to establish itself as an international hub for collectors and enthusiasts, capable of adapting to prestigious contexts while preserving its unique identity.

Following the success on Lake Como, Time on Show will return to where it all began, Bologna, within Auto e Moto d’Epoca, scheduled from October 22 to 25, 2026, and will also make its debut in New York, continuing its international expansion from November 19 to 22, 2026, in the iconic setting of the Javits Center in Manhattan.
