Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair to celebrate a milestone 45th edition in September

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd and The Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades & Industries Ltd, the 45th Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair, together with the 14th Salon de TIME, will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from 1-5 September 2026. The fairs will return in EXHIBITION+ hybrid model, complemented by the “Click2Match”, an online smart business matching platform that will operate on 25 August to 12 September, providing a convenient and efficient platform for traders to connect.

s the world’s premier timepiece event, the fairs provide a one-stop trading platform for the industry. Marking the milestone 45th edition of the Watch & Clock Fair under the theme “Sparkling Moments Through Time”, the twin fairs will bring together together an exceptional spectrum of prestigious and trendsetting timepieces. These include internationally renowned brands embodying ultimate luxury and timeless elegance; independent and niche watchmakers distinguished by their chic and unique designs; as well as limited-edition and customised watches and multifunctional smartwatches featuring advanced technologies, catering to diverse market trends and demands.

“Pageant of Eternity” displays a variety of exquisite OEM and ODM complete watches. Other exhibiting categories consist of “Complete Watches”, “Parts, Components & Accessories”, “Clocks”, “Machinery & Equipment”, “Packaging & Display”, and “Trade Services”, making it convenient for buyers to source.

Salon de TIME features renowned watch brands and designer collections in six themed zones:

World Brand Piazza highlights haute horlogerie and iconic timepieces from top-notch international brands;

Chic & Trendy features trendsetters and fashion-driven watch brands, including ALBA (Japan), Boccia Titanium (Germany), CAUGHT (Hong Kong), EARNSHAW (UK), premium licensed brands from International Luxury Group (ILG), Quantum (Turkiye), and Scotch & Soda (Netherlands);

Craft Treasure showcases mechanical watches and flawless craftsmanship of jewellery-laden watches, including CIGA Design, the first Chinese award-winning watch brand of Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG), Xushu Ma and Zehua Tan, Chinese members of Académie horlogère des créateurs indépendants (AHCI), AGELOCER (Chinese Mainland), Memorigin (Hong Kong), SAGA (US), Seagull (Chinese Mainland), and Shanghai (Chinese Mainland);

Renaissance Moment showcases classic and elegant watch and winding accessories brands originated in Europe, such as Pierre Lannier (France), WOLF (UK) and ZEPPELIN (Germany). Among them, the Swiss Independent Watchmaking Pavilion (SIWP), and Francéclat will showcase various outstanding independent watch labels including Briston, Herbelin and LIP;

Watch2Care and Link2Care (Hong Kong) in Wearable Tech will unveil the world’s first smartwatch to combine medical‑grade Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) biosensor technology with a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) framework;

Microbrands features unique brands offering creatively designed watches with storytelling including BREDA (US), Huasuo (Chinese Mainland), Leger A.FAH (Hong Kong), MICROMILSPEC (Norway) and Vario (Singapore).

Salon de TIME will continue to open to trade buyers and welcome public visitors for the five-day physical fair period. Celebrity events, watch parades and lucky draw sessions will be arranged. Selected items are also available for sale.

An array of watch parades, seminars, buyer forums and networking events will be held during the fair period to present the latest market insights and inspiration to industry players and facilitate business interaction. On 1 September, representatives of major watch associations around the world will gather at the Hong Kong International Watch Forum to discuss the global trade performance, forecast the market trend for the coming year, and explore how AI and smartwatches are driving the convergence of tradition and technology and its new industrial possibilities.

At the Asian Watch Conference on 2 September, industry experts will focus on the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and the Greater Bay Area, analysing their far reaching impact on the watch market as well as the latest trends. The conference will also invite renowned independent watchmakers, brand decision makers and e commerce leaders to share insights on how to leverage the industrial chain advantages of the Greater Bay Area, while seizing the tariff and trade facilitation opportunities brought by RCEP, and combining these with the rapid growth of e commerce to tap into broader Asian and international markets.

With the aspiration of stimulating creative exchange in local watch and clock design as well as fostering creativity, the HKTDC, Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Associations Ltd and The Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades & Industries Ltd jointly organise the 43rd Hong Kong Watch & Clock Design Competition again this year.

Under the theme of “Contours of the Breeze” for the student group and “Transcending Time” for the open group, winners will be announced at the fair and finalist pieces will be displayed during the fair at Hall 1 Concourse. Besides, the competition will once again present the “The Made-to-Sell Award” to a student group entry demonstrating exceptional marketability, which will be manufactured under guidance of the two watch associations and receive its official launch at HKTDC Design Gallery.
