he Avantgarde collection was introduced in 2011 by Alexander Shorokhoff, including the Regulator series R01. It immediately enjoyed great popularity in its category with details such as an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, a sapphire crystal back with 7 screws, a hand-engraved and finished movement with blued screws, and an excellent price-performance ratio.

In 2016, its successor, the R02, was developed, with a more traditional finish and a striped and a sunray guilloché dial. The opened centre of the dial allowed to see the beautifully filigree hand engraved movement.

All the bridges of the movement were hand-engraved, the wheels were polished and finished, and the screws were blued. Symbols of the brand, such as the elegant curvaceous basilica hands and the large number 60, were also featured. The model won a third place at the Golden Balance Wheel awards in 2017.

Both models are equipped with the 3105.Poljot movement, which is converted into a regulator at the Alexander Shorokhoff workshop. Until 1999, this calibre was produced in Russia as a replica of the Valjoux movement 7734 without the chronograph function. Today, unfortunately, only a few movements remain. Hence, the very last models of both model series, R01 and R02, are available for purchase in highly limited numbers.
