urthering their collaboration with Datsun, Seiko is introducing a third watch from the collection, the limited-edition Prospex Solar Speedtimer x Datsun Fairlady Z, limited to 4,000 pieces worldwide.

The collection also includes the Prospex Speedtimer Compact 6R x Datsun Fairlady Z and the Prospex Speedtimer x Datsun Fairlady Z, celebrating Japan’s iconic sports car, the Datsun 240Z, and its victory at the East African Safari Rally in 1971.

Much like the original Seiko Speedtimer, the Datsun 240Z is admired for its style, resilience, and reliable high performance.

The Prospex Solar Speedtimer x Datsun Fairlady Z is powered by Seiko’s in-house V192 solar-charged movement, which is charged by both natural and artificial light. It is accurate to ±15 seconds per day and offers a six-month power reserve when fully charged.

The Prospex Solar Speedtimer x Datsun Fairlady Z features several design elements from the original Datsun 240Z rally car, including its colour scheme, dashboard-inspired font, and the Datsun logo on the dial. A 3-dimensionalemblem of the winning car is engraved on the case back, alongside the limited-edition number.
