he Bausele Elemental is not just a watch — it’s a collaboration, a keepsake, and a quiet celebration of place, time, and purpose. Designed alongside 400 members of the brand’s community, it combines Swiss precision with Australian soul, natural elements embedded in the crown, and a one-of-a-kind dial that captures the feeling of looking beneath the surface. Crafted with care and purpose, each piece is a reflection of our commitment to meaningful design and world-class craftsmanship.
The first two editions speak to the extremes of nature.
Oceanic Blue, with sand from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, is a tribute to the calm rhythm of the sea and the ritual of early morning swims. It evokes clarity, presence, and the quiet energy of the ocean.
Inferno Black, grounded in volcanic sand from Currumbin’s Elephant Rock, is a symbol of resilience and renewal. It evokes quiet strength, inner grit, and the stillness that follows the fire. Built for the curious, the grounded, and the ones who show up. Not to impress, but to live.
This is Bausele’s first integrated bracelet diver; bold, precise, and deeply personal. It’s the result of six months spent not just designing for the brand’s community, but with them. Over 400 watch lovers, collectors, creatives, and adventurers, “Time Architects”, helped shape every decision, from the texture of the dial to the way it feels on the wrist.
Let’s talk about the dial. It’s where this watch truly sets itself apart.
Built in a sandwich construction, the lower level is textured to evoke the ocean floor; rough, raw, alive. Floating above it is a thick lacquer upper layer, where applied indices and the logo appear to hover, casting subtle shadows.
The effect? Like looking through a diver’s mask beneath the surface. Not just clarity, but that deep, soothing quiet when your ears are sealed from the outside world. A moment of silence, stillness, and pure presence. It’s tactile. It’s immersive. And it’s never been done quite like this.
The Elemental’s dual-scale bezel is as symbolic as it is functional. The outer ring tracks 60 minutes; for timing anything from a dive to a morning espresso. The inner 12-hour scale offers a second time zone; a quiet nod to someone, somewhere else. Together, they’re a reminder: Breathe where you are. Connect where it matters. A little philosophy, worn daily on the wrist.
Built for purpose and tested in the field, the Elemental watch combines rugged performance with refined engineering. At its core is a Swiss automatic movement, ensuring long-term precision and reliability. The anti-shock case design includes a stainless steel capsule that protects the movement, reinforced by three rubber buffers on the top and two on the sides, making it exceptionally impact-resistant, ideal for any adventure.
The antimagnetic case back adds just 1.5mm to the profile, keeping the total thickness at a practical 12.2mm, while enhancing resistance to magnetic fields, one of the most common causes of mechanical watch issues, reducing the need for servicing.
Originally developed for ADFA (Australian Defence Force Academy), which trains all of Australia’s military officers, this watch is now available to the public, offering professional-grade durability with everyday wearability.
Each edition holds something physical from a real place. Embedded in the crown of every Elemental is a natural element. Not a gimmick, but a grounded, personal detail that makes this watch your own.
Oceanic Blue – Sydney Northern Beaches Edition (Ref. EL-BL01): Sand from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, where early morning light dances beneath the waves. A tribute to coastal calm, daily ritual, and the quiet rhythm of the sea.
Inferno Black – Currumbin Edition (Ref. EL-BK01): Volcanic black sand from Currumbin’s iconic Elephant Rock. A coastline shaped by fire and time. A powerful symbol of resilience and renewal, this edition carries the spirit of transformation in every detail. A watch forged from ancient fire, and made to endure.
These aren’t metaphors. They’re material. Real places. Real meaning.
Collectors will appreciate the integrated bracelet and the visually slim profile, enhanced by the sleek caseback design first introduced on the Sydney Diver. While the case measures 12.2mm, it wears thinner on the wrist thanks to its contouring and balance, giving the watch a refined presence without compromising capability.
Inside, you’ll find a Swiss-made Sellita SW200 automatic movement, protected by both anti-shock and anti-magnetic engineering, a rare combination at this thickness. Outside, a clasp with micro-adjustment ensures a precise fit, and the case combines brushed, polished, and sandblasted finishes for a look that’s equal parts tool and treasure. Add in the rotating bezel and a 200m water resistance rating, and this watch is ready for wherever life takes you; with substance behind every surface.
This isn’t a watch designed to compete with hype. It’s built for people who value authenticity over trend, story over status, and substance over noise. Whether you’re chasing surf in Byron Bay, sipping pastis in St Tropez, or standing still long enough to watch the sun shift, the Elemental is made to go with you, and remind you why you went.
The Elemental Collection is the brand’s proudest expression yet of what Bausele stands for: Swiss precision. Australian spirit. And a life well lived, moment by moment.

Bezel
- The rotating bezel is split into two scales: a traditional 60‑minute count‑up scale on the outer edge for timing, and a 12‑hour second time zone scale on the inner ring, symbolising the balance between presence (“Breathe”) and connection across time and place (“Connect”).
- Crafted from two distinct components to create a subtle variation in surface finish, the bezel achieves a refined contrast that elevates both function and aesthetics, though it also makes the manufacturing process highly complex. A tool for travellers and mindful adventurers alike.
