he bezel of this new variation, offered exclusively with the burgundy dial, is set with 78 diamonds (0.312 carats). These stones give the Royale Paris a new expression. They form a subtle, almost intimate detail that elegantly highlights its clean lines.
The Royale Paris 36mm features a sculpted profile with delicately recessed flanks. Every element seems designed to let the material speak for itself. The interplay of textures between the sunburst dial and sandblasted grooves creates a distinctive display for subtle legibility.
The case is recognizable by its applied concave lugs, a strong signature of the Pequignet house. The slightly domed “glass box” sapphire crystal, treated with anti-reflective coating, enhances the sense of depth and clarity.
With a 8.95-thickness, the Royale Paris 36mm remains the thinnest in this collection. Like all Pequignet watches, the Royale Paris 36 mm with diamonds comes with interchangeable straps, allowing it to stand out at any moment, in an instant.
The Royale Paris 36mm with diamond bezel is powered by Pequignet’s Calibre Initial®. This in-house movement features a central seconds hand and offers a 65-hour power reserve. It is designed, developed, and assembled by hand in the Manufacture’s workshops in Morteau. All of its components are sourced within an 80 km radius, and 72% of them come from France.
Like all of the Manufacture’s movements, the Initial® Calibre receives meticulous attention to detail. Adjusted to six positions with a tolerance of -4 to +6 seconds per day, it ensures exceptional rate stability. In real-world wear, this rigor results in remarkable average precision, frequently observed at around +/- 2 seconds per day.
The Royale Paris 36 mm Diamond-Set is being released for Valentine’s Day. It is already available.
Pequignet, the French Haute Horlogerie Manufacture and certified “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant,” (“Living Heritage Company”), designs and manufactures its watches and movements in its Morteau workshops, in the heart of the Jura mountains.
Founded in 1973 by Émile Péquignet, the Maison has always innovated by breaking established norms. Since becoming an independent manufacture in 2010, it has created exceptional movements such as the Calibre Royal®, the manual-winding Calibre Royal® and the Calibre Initial®. In 2021, Pequignet joined “Maisons & Manufactures,” founded by Hugues Souparis. In 2024, the Manufacture launched the Calibre Royal® Tourbillon, confirming its status as an elite watchmaker.
