n the lead-up to one of the hottest dates on the watch collecting calendar, the British Watchmakers’ Alliance has announced ‘The List’ confirming all the participating brands who are bringing Special Edition watches to the show.

“In this, our third British Watchmakers’ Day, the Special Editions will remain the stars of the show.” said Alliance CEO, Alistair Audsley.

If the first event in 2024 was ‘Day One’ for British Watchmaking, then 2025 was the year the show proved the global appeal of the resurgent British watchmaking sector, with visitors from far afield as the USA and Costa Rica, Korea and Singapore.

“Looking at how our exhibiting watch brands have responded, I think 2026 will go down as the year of levelling up - across the board, from micro-brands to the major names, the Special Edition watches are an exceptional representation of the creativity and quality of British watches.” said Alistair.

While the designs are limited only by the makers’ imaginations as before, there are some rules for brands to follow as show organiser Katya Audsley explained:

“Firstly a Special Edition needed to be just that. We also listened to feedback from the exhibiting brands to settle on a maximum production of only 50 pieces for each watch. Some of the Special Editions are becoming serious collectables now and it’s fantastic for our visitors to know that the watches they buy are genuinely rare.”

As before, there are also strict embargoes on pre-orders to help ensure that anyone who attends British Watchmakers’ Day has a fair chance of buying the watch they want.

“What’s so gratifying is that all the participating brands embrace the need to protect this essential aspect of British Watchmakers’ Day” said Alistair. “Another special experience at the show is the opportunity to mingle with all the leading brand founders and personalities in British watchmaking”.

This year Roger W. Smith Ltd will be the headline sponsor of British Watchmakers’ Day 2026, coinciding with the company’s 25th anniversary.

Roger Smith, who is also co-founding Chairman of the Alliance said; “I’m delighted to support British Watchmakers’ Day as headline sponsor, particularly as it coincides with the 25th anniversary of the business. Over these years, I’ve witnessed British watchmaking transform into something truly exciting and British Watchmakers’ Day perfectly captures the sector’s dynamic, collaborative spirit. I look forward to celebrating with the community that continues to drive it forward.”

Another highlight of the show will be an exclusive watchmaking experience by Studio Underd0g giving visitors the chance to see the assembly of a Studio Underd0g timepiece up close. The guests will be able to book the experience on the day. It’s a rare opportunity to step behind the bench and discover the colour, creativity, and craftsmanship that define British watchmaking.

“With three guest sessions throughout the day, and all our exhibitors looking to add something special to their participation, I can’t wait to see how our 2026 show can take British Watchmakers’ Day to another level” said Alistair Audsley.

British Watchmakers’ Day is held on Saturday 7 March 2026 at the Lindley Hall, London. There will be 3 sessions: 10am-1pm, 1pm-4pm and 4pm-7pm to increase the number of guests as there was a waiting list for tickets for the two previous shows.
