he new Panthero Jumping Hour is a thoroughly new and innovative creation, from its distinctive case and sophisticated movement through to its outstanding overall design. By developing a new jumping hour, MeisterSinger once again showcases its spirit of technical innovation and delivers yet another compelling example of outstanding, harmonious design.
The newly developed 40,5-mm case immediately captivates with its refined elegance. From the front, it becomes clear: the case rim is extremely slim, acting only as the stage curtain for the magnificent architecture of the dial. The case also reveals a strikingly individual character in the refined finishing of its side flanks and in the exclusive, spiral-shaped crown. The interplay of polished and brushed surfaces creates a particularly harmonious overall impression. And, of course, a signature MeisterSinger feature is also present here: the subtly domed sapphire crystal glass on the front and the exhibition case back, which invites you to admire the movement going about its high-precision work.
At its core, the Panthero Jumping Hour remains unmistakably MeisterSinger. It presents the time in a minimalist, tranquil and entirely intuitive manner – and yet its entire design has been thoughtfully reimagined. The hour appears in a perfectly round window, jumping forward with exact precision, hour after hour. The minutes are indicated by a finely sculpted hand that does not originate from the center, but instead traces its path across the likewise off-center, superimposed minute ring. This reimagined geometry lends the dial a remarkable sense of depth, dynamic tension, and its own distinctive sense of order.
The harmonious impression is enhanced by a circular element that turns with every passing second, formed from the shape of the fermata – the MeisterSinger logo – and evocative of a radiant sun.
The new MeisterSinger sun wheel measures nothing, it counts nothing – and yet it makes the continuous flow of time visible, quietly revealing that the movement within is tirelessly at work. A subtle, almost meditative impulse that infuses the watch with life and consciously introduces a new emphasis within the MeisterSinger universe.
Inside the Panthero Jumping Hour, the MS-JH-01 based on the proven Sellita SW300 is at work, refined by a delicately engineered module designed to drive the characteristic jumping hour display. The intricate workings of the movement are revealed to the eye through the exhibition glass back. The rotor’s silhouette is inspired by the outline of three interlocking fermatas. The logo and the central ring encircling the rotor bearing are designed in sophisticated anthracite.
The new product family makes its debut with a strictly limited guilloché edition, meticulously crafted in just 25 pieces – one for each remarkable year in MeisterSinger’s history. The silver dial is crafted entirely by hand on a historical, manually operated guilloché machine. Line by line, the surface of the dial is cut by hand with the utmost concentration – a process that calls for experience, calmness, and absolute precision, making every dial a truly unique piece.
The minute track, the hand, and the sun-shaped wheel are designed in a metallic anthracite tone, creating a striking contrast that makes the Panthero stand out unmistakably as a new face on the watchmaking horizon.
Alongside the anniversary edition, two series collection models are being introduced with high-gloss lacquered dials in black and white, their deep luster reminiscent of the elegant finish of fine piano lacquer. On the black model, the hand and the sun are rendered in white and combined with a glossy black calfskin strap featuring a stylish crocodile embossing. The dial elements of the white lacquered version are in contrasting black, while the crocodile-embossed strap remains elegantly tone-on-tone. The Panthero Jumping Hour can, of course, also be paired with refined Milanese, vintage, or other exquisitely crafted leather straps.
Even now, it’s absolutely clear that the Panthero offers generous scope for creative design – and additional variants are already set to follow in the near future.
As the new “hero” of the MeisterSinger collection, the Panthero Jumping Hour represents the pinnacle of discerning standards, showcases exquisite craftsmanship, and claims a new flagship position within the brand’s universe.
