Vulcain Skindiver Nautique Meteorite - a diver from the sky

March 2026

Vulcain Skindiver Nautique Meteorite - a diver from the sky

The Skindiver Nautique, an iconic dive timepiece of the 1960s,
is now among the most sought-after models of the Le Locle-based brand. A timepiece featuring a certified meteorite dial is being introduced for the first time in a limited edition of 100 pieces. Who would have expected to discover
a Skindiver Nautique seemingly coming directly from the sky
– or perhaps from the depths of the Earth?

T

he year 2025 clearly demonstrated that Vulcain extends far beyond its legacy as a maker of alarm watches. The brand continues its path of renewal and, with the introduction of this model, once again pushes the boundaries of its creative and watchmaking expression.

Built upon a rich heritage, Vulcain has continued to look firmly ahead since
the arrival of Guillaume Laidet, who has brought renewed momentum to
the Neuchâtel manufacture and further sharpened its vision for the future.

Since its highly acclaimed reissue in 2023, the Vulcain Skindiver Nautique has been reinterpreted in numerous variations, special editions, and collaborations. It first ventured into the seas with its bronze case and water resistance to 200 meters. It then took
to the skies with the GMT function unveiled last year. It also demonstrates remarkable precision in its chronograph version, while never losing sight of its original purpose: to be
a timepiece equally at ease underwater, in the air, and on land.

The new meteorite dial of the Skindiver Nautique, issued
in a limited edition of 100 pieces, serves as a reminder that
the depths of the oceans are equal to the vastness of the galaxy.
Enhanced by a fragment of the Muonionalusta meteorite discovered in Sweden, the Skindiver Nautique with meteorite dial radiates a sense of eternity. With its distinctly mineral character, its nuances reminiscent of volcanic stone, and its silvery-grey metallic geometric patterns combined with captivating textural effects, it reveals a truly unique aesthetic presence.

The Skindiver Nautique combines a compact vintage aesthetic inspired by the design codes of the 1960s with contemporary watchmaking expertise. An automatic three-hand ETA 2824 movement and a construction focused on essential functionality define its 38 mm case.

As a true dive watch, the Skindiver Nautique features all
the hallmarks of the category: highly legible hands and indices coated with Super-LumiNova, as well as a unidirectional rotating bezel with a black ceramic insert and a grippy profile.

Appealing to neo-vintage watch enthusiasts and collectors with an appreciation for distinctive aesthetics, this new steel model is set to captivate discerning connoisseurs. As each meteorite dial is unique, with no two patterns alike, this exceptional timepiece is reserved for 100 fortunate collectors.
