In November 2025, Norqain Founder & CEO Ben Küffer and the Norqain Design Team met with several players, including Granit Xhaka, Manuel Akanji, Gregor Kobel, Breel Embolo and Ricardo Rodriguez, during a player council session in Lausanne to discuss the designs and exchange ideas directly with the team.

The players’ feedback immediately shaped the direction of the watch. Looking at the first dial proposal, Granit Xhaka remarked that the design already felt like a stadium, and that adding a touch of red on the inner bezel inspired by the fans would further capture the atmosphere and emotion of the game.

That comment became a defining inspiration for the final design, leading to stronger red accents and subtle fan-inspired details.¨

The 41mm stainless steel chronograph features a deep green dial inspired by the geometry of the football pitch, contrasted by black counters and bold red details developed together with the players. A pulsometer graduated for 30 pulsations references moments of peak adrenaline on the pitch, while the bezel incorporates a subtle half-time indication.

The red-tipped central chronograph hand adds a dynamic visual highlight, while the football-shaped small seconds disc at 9 o’clock becomes one of the watch’s most distinctive features, creating the vivid impression of a football constantly rolling across the dial. The inner bezel features a crowd-inspired motif paying tribute to the supporters whose passion drives the team forward at every match.

Between 4 and 5 o’clock, the date display integrates the Swiss flag at “26”, referencing the upcoming international tournament in North America. Rhodium-plated hands and indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova^® ensure excellent readability in all conditions.

Inside, the watch is powered by the Norqain calibre N19 automatic chronograph movement with a 62-hour power reserve, combining precision, reliability and everyday versatility. The Swiss Football Association logo appears on the sapphire crystal case back alongside the inscription “Limited edition – One of 260”.

As a symbol of the partnership and the team’s qualification for the upcoming tournament, the watches will be presented to players in the presence of the full national team. Each timepiece features an individually engraved Norqain plate with the respective player’s name and number, turning every watch into a personal reminder of this shared achievement and journey.

The watch is presented in a specially designed collector’s box inspired by a football stadium. Inside the lid, an image of the Swiss Football National Team celebrating qualification for the upcoming international tournament in North America captures a defining moment in the team’s journey. Fitted with a stainless steel bracelet, the timepiece is additionally delivered with a red football-inspired rubber strap, offering two distinct wearing options. The complete set is priced at CHF 4,850.
