he Rambler begins with the same classical case silhouette that defines the Series A, now rendered in a bead-blasted finish that is tactile and purposeful. Its proportions draw inspiration from the Patek Philippe 565, chosen for its timeless balance of presence and wearability. The result is a watch that invites use and is meant to be worn and enjoyed.
The dial follows a segmented design and is available in classic ‘Black Sesame’ or rich ‘Red Bean’color. The graphic hands take their cue from classic pilot references: bold, legible, and unambiguous. Lume is applied to the hour and minute hands and the track, ensuring clear legibility in any light.
“My dream summer would be to explore the world with my family and friends. Elliot and I made the Rambler to be the perfect travel companion: ready to go anywhere, do anything, and be with you while you make great memories,” said Mark Cho. “We have experimented with many materials and finishes in watch design, and the bead blasted effect is particularly satisfying, rugged but soft,” said Elliot Hammer.
Strap pairings match each dial. The ‘Black Sesame’ dial pairs with an olive canvas strap, while the ‘Red Bean’ dial comes with a soft grey Alcantara strap. Both configurations include a NATO strap option, offering versatility for every occasion and setting.
Temporal Works has once again collaborated with Staib to create a custom bracelet, finished in a matching bead blast to complement the case. The bracelet features easily removable links and is adjustable by up to 18mm, offering a precise and comfortable fit, and is available to purchase for $250.
The Series A Rambler will launch on Wednesday, July 1st at 10:00 AM ET, priced at $2,500 USD. The watch is available from The Armoury, online and in-store at its Hong Kong and New York City locations.
