Following the Fifty, Jubilee continues Raymond Weil's 50th anniversary celebrations

Six months after launching its 50th anniversary celebrations with The Fifty, Raymond Weil unveils Jubilee. Limited to 500 pieces, this new bi-compax automatic chronograph revisits the spirit and aesthetic codes of the timepiece that marked the beginning of the 50th anniversary celebrations, reinterpreting them within the Maison’s enduring vision of refined and accessible Swiss watchmaking.

F

ounded in Geneva in 1976, Raymond Weil is among the select few Swiss watchmaking brands to have remained independent and family-owned since its inception. The Maison, now in its third generation, has upheld a clear vision for the last fifty years – fine Swiss mechanical watchmaking that is elegant, yet accessible.

Since the beginning of 2026, the Maison has been celebrating its half-century anniversary by weaving its heritage into its present-day watchmaking. From archives and historic timepieces to new creations, the Legacy Tour has travelled across several continents, telling the story of fifty years of independence, creativity and a legacy passed from one generation to the next.

In spring 2026, at Watches & Wonders, Raymond Weil opened its anniversary year with The Fifty. Fifty watches for fifty years of history, each powered by one of fifty restored and hand-decorated Valjoux 23-6 movements dating from 1976. With its 37 mm case topped by a white-gold bezel, architectural dial and historic calibre, The Fifty was conceived as a deliberately exceptional statement piece. All fifty pieces found buyers within a short time, inspiring Raymond Weil to carry the story forward.

"Six months later, Jubilee builds on the spirit and aesthetic identity introduced by The Fifty, but reinterprets them in a watch that returns to the positioning at the heart of Raymond Weil since its creation. Priced at CHF 3,895, it offers a more accessible way to honour the Maison’s fiftieth anniversary, while retaining the horological substance, meticulous attention to detail and aesthetic depth that defined its predecessor." Elie Bernheim, CEO of Raymond Weil.

The idea behind Jubilee was not to reproduce The Fifty, but to build on its underlying idea –taking the architecture created to celebrate fifty years of history and reinterpreting it as a new expression of Raymond Weil watchmaking. The Jubilee case, crafted entirely in stainless steel, is 39 mm in diameter and 12.9 mm thick. These proportions lend a contemporary character to the anniversary chronograph, while preserving the neo-vintage codes that have come to define the award-winning millesime collection.

At its heart is the RW5030, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement. Its bi-compax architecture arranges the chronograph indications in a harmonious, balanced composition, whilst its 62-hour power reserve keeps the watch running for more than two and a half days. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, and to the front, a double- sided anti-reflective sapphire glassbox crystal enhances the dial’s depth and reinforces its neo-vintage character.

Jubilee is water-resistant to 50 metres and designed as a mechanical watch for everyday wear, bringing the anniversary aesthetic into a more accessible, contemporary expression of watchmaking.

Jubilee features a light blue dial, accented by two midnight-blue sub-dials that structure the chronograph’s bi-compax layout.

The hour markers are coated with green-glowing Super-LumiNova®, whilst the obelisk-shaped hour and minute hands, with their linear satin finish, also use Super-LumiNova®. The interplay of volumes, textures and light continues the visual language introduced with The Fifty, whilst giving Jubilee a distinct personality of its own.

Jubilee is being officially unveiled in Sydney, during the seventh stop of the Legacy Tour. Since the beginning of 2026, this anniversary journey has taken Raymond Weil’s heritage around the world, bringing together historic and contemporary creations to tell the story of five decades of independent, family-owned watchmaking. Following Sydney, the Legacy Tour will continue to Singapore and then Paris, carrying the Maison’s 50th-anniversary celebrations further across the globe.

As such, Jubilee marks one of the final highlights of this anniversary year. Drawing on the history celebrated throughout the Legacy Tour, this watch brings that heritage into the present day, ahead of one final anniversary celebration.
