As with a pulsometer - chronograph activated, 30 drum bass kicks counted - the BPM scale tells your current musical universe: between 110 and 130 BPM, groove to French Touch. At 60 BPM, Reggae sooths a hectic day.

From 70 to 95 BPM, it is 90’s rap or in the cozy, muffled atmosphere of a late-night slow jam. Beyond 140 BPM, eyes closed, arms in the air, trance music is the atmosphere.

The face of the watch draws on color codes that a whole generation grew up with from the electric blue gradient to the pitch-black nights of minimalist clubs. The sound bar markers, between midnight and 2 a.m., symbolize the importance of unsaturated sound.

In the centre of it all, the Calibre Initial^® Chronograph, Pequignet’s fifth Manufacture movement, serves its role as a metronome.
