Auction of Important Collectors’ Wristwatches, Pocket Watches & Clocks

Antiquorum presents its May sale entitled Important Collectors’ Watches, Pocket Watches & Clocks to be held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel du Rhône in Geneva on May 14. This outstanding sale comprises around 300 pieces of extraordinary quality, spanning several centuries of fine watch making. In particular some extraordinary pocket watches such as a unique “Ultra Complicated” Patek Philippe with 16 complications made in 2000, a very fine and important Lange & Söhne hunting-cased clock watch made in 1905, an extremely fine and important Breguet minute-repeating watch from 1806 and two very fine dress-watches from the latest 1930s by Vacheron & Constantin. The sale further includes a superb Singing Bird Box by Frères Rochat made for the Chinese market in ca. 1815 and several very fine wristwatches. For example a rare Patek Philippe Ref. 2499 of the first series made in 1953, a Ref. 2499/100 from the 1970s and a recent “Celestial Wristwatch” by Patek Philippe as well as several other very fine wristwatches by major brands.
