Lagarde new VP of Dior Watches North America

January 2005

Christian Dior Watches, owned by Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey (LVMH) Group, has appointed Lisa Lagarde its new Vice President of Dior Watches North America, effective immediately.

In this new position, Lagarde will lead the company's North American sales operations, including wholesale, retail and corporate, in an aggressive growth phase. Lagarde will also be responsible for overseeing consumer and trade marketing and corporate training. She will report to LVMH Watch & Jewelry North America President and CEO Daniel Lalonde.

For the past five years, Lagarde has worked as the watch buyer for Bailey Banks & Biddle, a division of Zale Corporation. During her time there she reorganized the watch business by maximizing core brands, focusing on prestige brand growth and adding fashion (including Christian Dior) to the watch brand offerings. Her initiatives drove consistent and significant growth for the watch division. Lagarde was at Zale Corporation for 21 years.

“We are very excited to have Lisa at the helm of Dior watches,” said Lalonde. “She has the right experience, knowledge and attitude to drive the success of Dior in the luxury fashion watch market.”
