Bulgari and Crova Consolidate

March 2003

In late December 2002, the Bulgari Group acquired a 50% stake in Crova S.P.A, the Valenza-based manufacturer of high-end jewelry. Bulgari paid 8 million Euro for the deal, which will reinforce the 25 year relationship between the two companies while setting the foundation for new projects.
Crova, founded in 1845, owns three production units with over 350 employees. In 1999, it was the first goldsmith company in the world to receive the ISO 9001 certification. Crova's turnover for 2002 was approximately 35 million Euro.
