TAG Heuer welcomes the French promising driver SÉbastien Bourdais
as a new racing ambassador for TAG Heuer watches and “Sport Vision”
eyewear collection, combining prestige with performance.

Over the past 142 years, TAG Heuer, the undisputed reference in the area of prestige chronographs and sports watches, has drawn its values from the world of motor sports and more particularly, from Formula 1 racing. The brand has held the highly coveted role of Official Timekeeper of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship since 1992 and is also a partner of the McLaren-Mercedes team and of many drivers.

SÉbastien Bourdais, 23 years old, collects many titles such as Formula 3 French Champion and Formula Renault French Vice Champion. In 2002, after 5 races in F3000 and the most prestigious and mythic one: the Monaco Grand Prix (May 25th), he has already accomplished 4 pole positions (record ever) and 2 victories, ranking 1st in the International F3000 Championship at that stage. He is currently the leader of the French Racing Federation (F.F.S.A) program, aiming at bringing a new French driver back into Formula 1.

From the 2002 Monaco Grand Prix, SÉbastien will wear his favourite “Kirium F1” which reflects perfectly the values of the motor racing spirit such as 1/100th precision, reliability and performance. As an ambassador of Sport Vision, he will wear under his helmet The “Reflex” range optical glasses `'the first glasses whose sharpness help me to go faster ant their comfort fits perfectly to my helmet in racing conditions'' declares SÉbastien Bourdais.
