55th Cannes Film Festival: TrophÉe Chopard

Chopard awarding the female and male new stars of the year.

Over 400 guests were invited on Friday 17th May for the “TrophÉe Chopard” Gala Dinner at the Salon Croisette of the Majestic Hotel.
The event, in collaboration with the Cannes Film Festival, was organized in partnership with Studio Magazine.

In the presence of movie stars and international celebrities, Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, vice-president of Chopard, Gilles Jacob, president of the International Film Festival and Jean-Pierre Lavoignat, female and male new stars of the year.

Sir Elton John and David Furnish, Milla Jovovitch, the Prince Emmanuele Filiberto de Savoie, Ivana Trump, Jerry Hall, Debra Messing, Jodie Markell and Treat Williams, the actors of the ultimate Woody Allen movie “Hollywood Ending”, Guillaume Canet, together with the actress Diane Kruger, the Italian actress Martina Stella were among the guests.

The Chinese actress Gong Li, godmother of the evening handed the “trophÉes” to the laureates: Hayden Christensen, actor of the new “Stars Wars” episod, Paz Vega, seen in “Habla con ella” directed by Pedro Almodovar, and Ludivine Sagnier from the movie “8 Femmes”.

After a dinner set up in a delicate silk and silver decoration, the guests, in a festive mood, danced until late.
