ntroducing an exciting, brightly coloured flashback to the early days of recreational diving. With a striking red gradient dial and a strap with a unique retro look, the new Ocean Star Tribute Gradient is an addition to the collection that celebrates Mido’s expertise in water resistance.

The reliability of this vintage yet high-performance model is enhanced with cutting-edge technology, including Super-LumiNova® for readability and a black aluminium ring on the rotating bezel. The Calibre 80, with an autonomy of up to 80 hours, and water-resistance to 20 bar (200 m / 660 ft), provides even more reasons to dive into the water at any opportunity.

In reference to the modest dimensions of the watches of the sixties, the Ocean Star Tribute Gradient has a diameter of only 40.5 mm, making it perfect for both men and women. To ensure perfect readability even underwater, the bezel, indexes and hands are coated with white Super-LumiNova®.

For the first time, Mido has fitted its new model with a strap inspired by an iconic texture from the past. In the 1960s, this classic rubber strap proved a welcome alternative for divers, thanks to its remarkable resistance to moisture.

An aperture at 3 o'clock displays the day and date. In a nod to its diving roots, the timepiece has a unidirectional rotating bezel with a black aluminium ring and silver-coloured markings. An ultra-strong “glassbox”-style sapphire crystal adds to its vintage look.

Mido has gone for retro styling down to the last detail, with a criss-cross design in relief, notched edges, an embossed underside and perforations to let the skin breathe. Supple and refined, this vintage-look strap combines comfort and durability.
