The Hamptons is an escape from the hustle and bustle of New York City, just on the other side of Long Island. A relaxed, yet glamorous and festive area, the area is the inspiration for the iconic Hampton from Baume & Mercier. This year, Baume et Mercier introduces the Hampton Magnum for men and women.
Employing a mix of casual chic, the new Hampton collection combines classicism with highly contemporary design, very much like the dual nature of the Hamptons: one foot in urban and sophisticated Manhattan and the other in a hedonistic, relaxed beach lifestyle.
The new collection features two standout models: the Hampton Magnum Black for Him and the Hampton Magnum White for Her.

Hampton Magnum XXL
This year, the new Men’s Hampton Magnum adopts a XXL size and incorporates a chronograph function to enhance its sporty nature. The entirely satin-finished steel case gives it an extremely virile, rugged appearance.
Automatic chronograph movement (ETA 7750), oscillating weight decorated with Côtes de Genève, date at 3 o’clock, square XXL case, 37.4 x 48 mm, in satin-finished steel reinforced by lateral inserts on the left, in black vulcanized rubber and secured to the case-middle by two steel screws. Bezel in satin-finished steel fixed by four black PVD screws. Push-pieces in satin-finished steel, black vulcanized rubber strap, Clou de Paris décor. Screw-down crown, sapphire crystal caseback secured by four steel screws.
Black dial and chronograph counters, small seconds at 9 o’clock, rhodium-plated ap-pliqué Arabic numerals, antiglare crystal, Superluminova-tipped hands, water-resistance to 200 metres, black vulcanized rubber strap with triple folding adjustable clasp.



HAMPTON MAGNUM WHITE
For women of character, the new Hampton Magnum model also comes in a feminine version featuring a bezel set with four diamonds. Its automatic movement incorporates two extremely useful complications: a big date and a dual time zone displaying the hours and minutes.
Automatic movement (SOPROD TT651), oscillating weight decorated with Côtes de Genève, Big Date at 12 o’clock, dual Time at 6 o’clock, square XL case 34.1 x 45 mm., polished/satin-finished steel case reinforced by lateral inserts in white vulcanized rubber and secured to the case-middle by four steel screws. Bezel in satin-finished steel fixed by four screws set with a diamond (0.12 ct), screw-down crown, sapphire crystal caseback secured by four steel screws, shimmering white dial, dual time counter enhanced with a rhodium-plated ornament adorned with Côtes de Genève décor and set with two round full-cut 32/24 Top Wesselton VS diamonds (0.01 ct). Rhodium-plated appliqué Arabic numerals, Superluminova-tipped hands, water-resistance to 200 metres. White vulcanized rubber with Triple folding security clasp.
