BASELWORLD announces the redesign of the “Hall of Elements” for the 2005 Show

November 2004

BASELWORLD, the world’s leading watch and jewellery show, is set to be a resounding success in 2005. With the total redesign of the “Hall of Elements”, the gemstones and pearls sector will be impressively upgraded, allowing sufficient space for multistorey stands for the first time.

With registrations already in hand, the preparations for BASELWORLD 2005 (held from March 31 to April 7, 2005) already indicate that the show will once again consolidate its position as the world’s leading exhibition for the watch and jewellery industry.

Upgrading of the Hall of Elements
The Hall of Elements will be even more eye-catching at BASELWORLD 2005. Following the reconstruction of the other BASELWORLD halls, Hall 3 will receive a thorough redesign, establishing it’s uniqueness with state-of-the-art features. The Exhibitors in the Hall of Elements will be presenting their gemstones and pearls in a glamorous “new” hall with a distinctive identity of its own.

Multistorey stand constructions
The redesign will create a luxurious exhibition platform that will accomodate multistorey stands in the Hall of Elements for the first time. A spacious new entry area along with added rest spots, bars and lounges, will give the hall a unique “feel”. The central courtyard, surrounded by the impressive new stand constructions, will constitute the “heart” of the hall.
This clear upgrading of the Hall of Elements will afford those exhibitors from the gemstones, pearls and diamonds sectors, a worthy, market-compatible infrastructure within the world’s leading watch and jewellery show.
