Dior Watches, luxury watch brand part of LVMH Watch & Jewelry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephane Barraque as President of Dior Watches North America, effective September 15, 2008.
In his new role, Stephane Barraque will manage all Sales and Marketing activities for the brand and will report directly to Ulrich Wohn, President and CEO LVMH Watch & Jewelry NA.
Stephane Barraque comes from the Richemont Group, where he has been employed since 1993 and has extensive marketing and commercial skills in numerous markets. Since 2005, Stephane Barraque has been the International Director for Baume & Mercier in Switzerland where he redefined and implemented the commercial strategy of Baume & Mercier worldwide.
Stephane Barraque started his career in 1993 at Cartier International in France, as Product Manager in the Watch department. He was a key player in the development of star product lines such as the Roadster, Pasha, Santos and the Must Collection.
In 1998, he moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil as Sales and Marketing Director for Cartier in Brazil and shortly after, was named Managing Director for Baume & Mercier Latin America and the Caribbean. In this position, Stephane Barraque opened the regional office in Miami, FL.
A Franco-American citizen, he studied in France, New York and Tokyo and is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
