RSW launches the Outland timepiece

September 2008

Beneath its impressive yet unpretentious appearance, this original timepiece enjoys running counter to conventions and is the result of an unorthodox creative process.
Inspired by brutalism, its case features angular geometric shapes and structures that are extremely eye-catching.

Its design is inspired by the retrofuturist movement of the 1980s, a period in which architecture was a privileged mode of expression and a concept that is loyally incarnated by the Outland timepiece. Not content to convey these ideas purely in the watch’s design, RSW has stretched the limits of this creative effort even further by applying it to the mechanism of the watch itself.
