Baselworld 2009: All the key buyers will be in Basel

From March 26 to April 2, 2009, the BASELWORLD Watch and Jewellery Show will be opening its doors in Basel. This year too, key buyers from all over the world will be visiting the sector's most important event of the year. “Basel is the biggest and most highly regarded show”, explains Marc Udell, proprietor of LonÂ¬don Jewelers in New York. “It is here that we can experience firsthand everything that is happening worldwide in the watch and jewellery sector.”

Over a surface area of 160,000 m2, clearly arranged according to watches, jewellery, related brands and national pavilions, some 2000 exhibitors will be presenting their product innovations at BASELWORLD. The show not only attracts buyers and visitors but also holds particular interest and appeal for the specialist and lifestyle media, as well as the daily and business press. And it is not without good reason that some 3000 journalists from all over the world will be reporting from BASELWORLD once again, from March 26 to April 2, providing coverage of innovations, new products and trends.
