Chopard in the feminine

Chopard

There are two new ladies’ timekeepers at Chopard—an L.U.C Tourbillon Lady and a Happy Sport Chrono Chocolat.
The L.U.C Tourbillon Lady is a luxurious and opulent piece that combines Haute Horlogerie and Haute Joaillerie in a demonstration of the brand’s savoir-faire.
Underneath the baguette diamond-set bezel, the baguette and round diamond-set dial, the white diamond-covered case, and the baguette diamond-covered crown (for a total of 8.60 carats), beats a manual-winding mechanical movement, the L.U.C 4T. It features four superimposed barrels as well as a tourbillon with small seconds at 6 o’clock. The entirely hand-decorated movement is also a COSC-certified chronometer and has been awarded the prestigious hallmark, the PoinÇon de GenÈve (Geneva Seal).
For those precious few who will own this timekeeper, sold in a limited series of 25 white gold and 25 rose gold pieces, they can rest assured that they won’t break a nail winding their watch. Chopard has thought of this, too, and provides its clients with a small white gold handle, which they can use to wind their nine-day movement.
For more sporty clients (or perhaps somewhat less wealthy, but then...), Chopard has prepared ‘a precious delicacy’—the Happy Sport Chrono Chocolat. A large watch, it features a mat ceramic case in chocolate tones, a rose gold rotating bezel, five mobile diamonds, and a rubber bracelet sculpted like links. Water-resistant with chronographic functions, it is, however, supremely refined.
